Snorkelling trip to Denmark’s secret Atlantis

Out in the South Funen Archipelago are the remains of a Stone Age landscape, and you can now join archaeologists from the Archipelago Museum (Øhavsmuseet) and experience the magical underwater world. Come out and discover one of the many sites along the coast in the South Funen Archipelago where traces of Stone Age man lie scattered over the seabed, and where you can enjoy the amazing scenery at the same time. We guarantee that you will be given a thorough introduction to snorkelling, techniques and the equipment you will need.

The direction of the wind and the weather also play a major role in the experience you enjoy on/in the water. So, we choose a diving spot according to the weather and cannot therefore announce the precise spot until the night before the trip. We have a number of fantastic sites to choose from, all of which are within a 15-minute drive of Faaborg. The night before the trip, you will be notified of the exact address by email and text, and that is where we will meet. We mark the spot with a flag, making it very easy to find.

We have all the gear you will need: top quality wetsuit, diving mask, snorkel and flippers. All you need to bring is a towel, swimwear and a bottle of water.

The trip is for anyone over the age of 14. If you are aged between 14 and 16, you must be accompanied by an adult. You must be able to swim and walk normally.

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our activities. All our employees are therefore specially trained snorkel instructors, and the equipment we lend out is of the highest quality.

The weather in Denmark can be unpredictable, so we reserve the right to cancel the event if the weather makes it unsafe to go ahead. If this is the case, the fee will be refunded.

We always recommend that you have leisure insurance.
