Whether you plan for a company event or celebrate a family get-together, Øhavsmuseet offers a variety of activities that are suitable for sharing something special together. We also customise tours to match your individual arrangement, whether you belong to a private group, an organisation or a company. Below please find some of our activities.

If you are a larger group, we recommend you to book a fixed time at Øhavsmuseet’s new exhibition “Discover Yourself”. Please find more information about the exhibition here which will take you on a magical and sensuous journey into nature and history. Try out the test stations that can reveal how nature affects just you.

Prices:
During opening hours: DKK 105 per person.
After opening hours (up to 50 persons): DKK 1,000 per hour and DKK 105 per person.
Presentations within opening hours: DKK 1,500.
Presentations after opening hours: DKK 3,000

Why not put your family or employees behind bars in our local town jail. Join our guided tour and explore the authentic premises that reveals how prison life was experienced by both past and present inmates. Serving time under lock and key gives rise to many reflections among young and old alike.

Our town jail guide takes you on a historical journey in Danish law and punishment. After the tour, you are free to explore the courtroom, the cells, the director’s bedroom and the prison yard.

Prices for min. 10 persons:
With Guide Thurs-Sunday, incl. outside opening hours: DKK 150 per person for 1 hour.
Without Guide Mon-Wednesday in the daytime: DKK 85 per person for 1 person.

Visit denmark’s most charming mill

Explore Denmark’s oldest and cosiest watermill on a guided tour to Kaleko Mølle. In its scenic surroundings, you will learn the fascinating story about the mill and its importance to generations of hard-working millers, their families, and the local community. It is a journey from the Middle Ages till 1912, when the last miller left the premises.

Afterwards, you can experiment with hydropower at the outdoor water play station, hear fun facts about the water’s history at listening posts, and take a nice stroll to the sea.
