Clear canoe tour

Sail into the mesmerising past in a transparent kayak. While it calmly cuts through the water surface, you will be able to enjoy the magical views above and below the sea. Throughout history, people have seen Southern Funen from this perspective, which you can now experience from your kayak. Together, we will follow in the footstep of history and view the landscape through the eyes of a Stone Age fisherman, a viking and an Archipelago farmer. From our glass bottom kayaks, you can get a good glimpse of why our area have been able to nourish its people during thousands of years.

Our kayaking tour lasts for 1½-2 hours.
You are paddling two by two in completely transparent kayaks.
The seaworthy kayaks require no experience.
The day before, you will receive an email about our meeting point, which depends on the wind.
Following a short instruction, we are ready to sail along the coast, staying in shallow water. Normally, you will be paddling the kayaks two by two and our Øhavsguide will accompany you on the entire tour.

Clear kayaking is also for kids. We recommend the age to be minimum 5 years old. If they are under 11 years old, they must be accompanied by a familiar adult in the same kayak.

It is a good idea to wear clothes prepared for a few water splashes.
You may also want to bring a bottle of water and a towel. The towel comes in handy when you drive back from your kayaking tour.
Remember sunglasses and maybe a cap. Make sure that any sunscreen has been well absorbed in order to avoid any discolouring of the kayak.

Each kayak can carry 200 kilos in total. The kayaks are double, and therefore, the total weight can be shared between 2 persons.

You will most often be paddling together with a familiar face. However, if you are a group of 3, you may be sharing the double kayak with someone, you do not know. This is a nice opportunity to meet new people!

The price is DKK 295 per person.
Our tour schedules are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm or from 1 pm to 3 pm. The season covers the weeks of 28, 29, 31 and 34 as well as 27th and 28th August.
