HAVE FUN IN THE ARCHIPELAGO

On 3 Wednesdays in July, you and your family can explore the beautiful Southern Funen Archipelago by canoe, kayak or with snorkel. Your experienced guides will take you on a splashing adventure, where you will learn about life around the Archipelago during the past 10,000 years. Before the adventure starts, you will all get a thourough introduction to the equipment. Are you are ready to enjoy a wonderful day on and in the water?

Location: Bittenhus, 14B Sanatorievej, Faaborg. Parking alongside the road.
Dates: 3 July, 10 July and 17 July

Payments can only be made in DKK. Please pay the exact amount to the instructor.
There is no need to register in advance, just join in.

In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled. This will be announced the day before the activity on Øhavsmuseet and on Trente Mølle Naturskole’s Facebook page.

 

TRANSPARENT CANOE

Experience the Archipelago below and above the water in our mesmerising transparent canoes, allowing you to explore the bottom of the sea as you sail along.
Tour start: 10 am and 1 pm
Price: DKK 100 per person regardless of age
NB: Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

 

KAYAK

Try kayaking and enjoy the Archipelago coastline from a different angle.
Tour start: 10.30 am and 1.30 pm
Price: DKK 100 per person
Minimum age: 14 years. Participants must be able to swim.
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

 

SNORKEL

Experience the Archipelago below the surface that hides ancient Ice Age settlements.
Tour start: 10 am and 1 pm
Price: DKK 100 per person regardless of age
Minimum age: 12 years. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

 

WADERS AND SHRIMPS

Explore the shallow waters with waders and shrimp nets. At Bittenhus, it is teeming with seaweed, crabs, shrimps and other funny animals that you can catch and study up close.
Price: The activity is free.
NB: Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
